Vivo V60e: Complete Review,
The Vivo V60e enters the competitive mid-range smartphone market with a strong focus on sleek aesthetics, studio-quality portrait photography, and exceptional battery endurance. Designed for everyday users, mobile photographers, and content creators, the V60e continues Vivo’s signature V-series legacy by packing premium features into an ultra-slim frame.
Sleek Design and Immersive Display
Vivo has long been recognized for crafting some of the slimmest and most eye-catching smartphones on the market, and the Vivo V60e is no exception. Weighing around 185 grams and measuring just 7.5mm in thickness, the phone feels remarkably light and comfortable in the hand. The back panel features a color-changing fluorite AG glass finish that resists fingerprints while shifting hues under direct sunlight. It also comes with an IP64 rating for dust and water splash resistance.
On the front, the device boasts a 6.78-inch 3D Curved AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels). Key display highlights include:
- Refresh Rate: 120Hz adaptive refresh rate for ultra-smooth scrolling and gaming.
- Peak Brightness: Up to 2,800 nits, ensuring crystal-clear visibility even under harsh outdoor sunlight.
- Eye Protection: 2160Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain during low-light usage.
Performance and Software
Under the hood, the Vivo V60e is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 (or equivalent 4nm octa-core processor, depending on the region), paired with an Adreno GPU. Built on an efficient 4nm architecture, this chipset handles daily multitasking, social media browsing, and moderate gaming (like PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty: Mobile) without overheating or noticeable frame drops.
The phone runs on Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 right out of the box. The software experience is clean and fluid, featuring AI-driven enhancements such as AI Eraser for photos, Smart Split-Screen, and Extended RAM technology that allows you to convert up to 8GB of unused storage into virtual RAM.
Camera Setup: Studio-Level Portraits
The standout feature of the Vivo V60e is its camera system, supported by Vivo’s upgraded Aura Light Portrait ring LED at the back, which automatically adjusts color temperature based on ambient lighting.
- Primary Camera: 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) for sharp, shake-free low-light shots and 4K video recording.
- Ultra-Wide / Depth Sensor: 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens to capture expansive landscapes and group photos.
- Front Selfie Camera: 50MP Eye-Autofocus front camera, capable of recording high-resolution videos and capturing sharp solo or group selfies.
Battery Life and Charging
Despite its slim profile, the Vivo V60e houses a massive 5,500mAh BlueVolt battery. Thanks to the high-density battery technology and power-efficient processor, the phone easily lasts up to 1.5 to 2 days on a single charge with moderate use.
When it is time to plug in, the included 80W FlashCharge adapter can charge the battery from 1% to 50% in roughly 22 minutes, and up to 100% in under 50 minutes.
